Customer's reviews
My daughter asked me to help her get estimates and set up getting a piano moved to her new house. Smooth Moves was, hands down, the best option of the 5 estimates I received. Their rates were reasonable. I had 1 online estimate for almost $500, and a verbal phone estimate for about $400. The owner was very professional and friendly. His experience was evident. The original owner of the piane reported to me that they were in/out of her condo in record time and raved about what a great job they did. The entryway into my daughter's new home is very tight and awkward yet they were able to navigate it cleanly without any glitches. I highly recommend this company for ANY moving needs, not just pianos!

Imagine a beautiful, shiny, baby grand piano. It's a work of art. Especially because your kids stopped playing it years ago, so at this point it's not really a musical instrument, so much as a beautiful, heavy, sculpture.
But your kids are out of the house for college, so there's no one to complain if you decide to try picking it back up again, reliving your youth with some rock ballada of the 1990s. Let's do this!
And then you buy a new house...
Who are you going to trust to move this sculpture safely, quickly, and cost effectively?
Smooth Moves Piano Movers of course. They finished our move today and I can't recommend them enough. Super professional and fast, and there wasn't a single moment where I worried about the outcome. And very reasonably priced to boot. Can't recommend them enough.
If only they gave piano lessons....

I cannot rate Smooth Moves highly enough! They were very responsive to my piano moving inquiry and were very reasonably priced. The folks who came to move the piano were very friendly and TREMENDOUSLY knowledgeable. They handled our piano like it was their own. In addition, they appreciated the other instruments we had as well as advised us how long to wait before having the piano tuned (this is our first piano). They also went the extra mile to help better attach a wheel that had come loose (was loose before the piano was moved). Due to all of these factors, I will use them again without hesitation the next time I need a piano moved or refer them to anyone who needs a piano moved!
